The sweet dog Novie was rescued from the kill shelter in Cornetu, Romania, in October 2023. Initially, after his rescue, we received information that he had bitten the vet during a stopover at the clinic and had run away. Fortunately, in mid-November, we learned that there had been a mix-up. The supposedly lost Novie had been gentle as a lamb, hadn’t caused any trouble, and had been safely at Marius’s shelter in Câmpurelu for a few weeks. This as-yet-unnamed treasure was then given the name "Novie" – in honor of November. In July 2024, Novie and several other dogs were moved to Ramona’s shelter, where a vet checkup revealed that Novie is heartworm-positive. Since then, he has been receiving the necessary treatment.

Novie would thrive with an adopter who has a gentle, patient approach and is ready to provide a secure and stable home environment. His ideal family would be understanding of his past, knowing he may need time to fully trust and adjust to his new surroundings.
